Repeat for 0DB/00

Problem Descriptions

ECR #4806

The internal flags that determine the sharing characteristics were improperly set on several PDF's in 4.0.0 and 4.0.2.

For example, when an optional child had Pre- and Post Invocation ILF exits, but no actual optional child process, the Post Invocation job step did not execute under 4.0.0.

ECR #4810

Processing the Data Dictionary from the "Design File Management" Menu appeared to be processing all files, but it may not have actually processed.

This patch also includes the 4.0.3 Design Transfer Patch

Patch Instructions:

This patch is a design transfer patch to the APPX 0LA and 0DB applications. Make sure that you have a backup of your appx/data/00/0LA and your appx/data/00/0DB directories.

1) Create two empty applications, 1LA/00 and 1DB/00.

2) Retrieve one of the following patch files

ftp://ftp.appx.com/pub/0apatch/404-int.tgz for intel systems

ftp://ftp.appx.com/pub/0apatch/404-ris.tgz for risc systems

This contains Data and Struct directories for 1LA/00 and 1DB/00. Explode this file into your appx/data directory. It should overlay the applications that you created in step 1

3) From design file management for 0LA/00, choose 14-Apply Patch with Design Transfer. Enter 1LA/00 as the From Application and press Enter twice to do the transfer. It should automatically process the DD for 0LA.

4) From design file management for 0DB/00, choose 14-Apply Patch with Design Transfer. Enter 1DB/00 as the From Application and press Enter twice to do the transfer. It should automatically process the DD for 0DB.

5) Now you need to run a job to fix the sharing characteristic fields. Follow these steps:

App/Ver 0LA 00
Database ID (this should be blank)
Process Type JOB
Process Name RESET IPC FLDS IN PDF FILES
