The MakeSelf installer can be downloaded from the APPX ftp server at:
ftp://ftp.appx.com/appx/products/appx/server/4.2.2/appxsetup.sh
If your browser displays the contents of the script instead of downloading it, you should click on your browser's STOP button. Then right click on the download link and select the "Save Target As.." option to download and save the MakeSelf installer for APPX/Linux.
The installer is approximately 30 megabytes in size and contains everything that is needed to install and run APPX/Linux except for the license key.
The APPX/Linux MakeSelf installer file can be saved in and installed from any directory on your Linux system. If you do not have a preference, save the appxsetup.sh installer file in the directory into which you will be installing APPX/Linux. The MakeSelf installer (appxsetup.sh) can be run from this directory.
If you have not already obtained a license key, you must do so before you run the MakeSelf installer.
